Green Service Program (GSP) is a Lebanese environmental non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring nature through reforestation, education, and community action.
Founded in 1996 by a group of passionate individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, GSP was born out of a shared concern for the increasing damage to Lebanon’s forests caused by pollution, neglect, and recurring fires. What started as a grassroots initiative quickly evolved into a mission: to safeguard the environment and inspire responsibility toward nature. In 2000, GSP was officially recognized as an NGO under the Ministry of Interior (Registration No. 178/AD).
Today, the organization has grown into a powerful network of hundreds of volunteers, including scouts, Red Cross members, and university students, all working together to create lasting environmental impact. Through more than 70 successful projects across Lebanon, GSP has planted thousands of trees, restored public spaces, led cleanup campaigns, and delivered educational programs focused on sustainability and fire prevention.Driven by passion and guided by expertise, GSP continues to expand its effortsworking closely with public institutions and building its own nursery to support future reforestation projects.
Together, we are not just planting trees — we are building a greener future.
